I work in aeromat we rebulid jet engines any plane engines really,anyway we have a customer from germany he owns a private jet company in bonn.so yesterday we got a call from him he owns one of those mtt y2k bikes that has a rolls royce ally jet engine and he was having a few problems with it,he rang mtt in america and they wouldnt have an engineer over till next week and he needed it for a show.so the bike was being stored in england and it arrived at the workshop today,we dont do bikes so we got a lad from ducatti out to supervise and such it was a handy enough fix the surge valve was sticking so we replaced it,the lad from ducatti took it for a test ride,and came back in knots laughing,he told us he was at the traffic lights and a lad in a evo tried to race him,so he gave it some beans but the evo wouldnt back off and was right up his arse,little did the bloke in the evo know the temperatures coming out of the bikes exhaust was melting his front bumper,he said when he was looking in his mirror all he could see was bubbling and the bumper distorting on the evo,we seen the car at lunch in the maxol at ballymun with the bloke shaking his head serves him right for acting the moron.i have photos i will post them up soon as.

How close was he driving to him? I dont know much about anything but that sounds like a fairly tall storey to me. Anyway when you get the photos back from the photoshop discussion board make sure and stick them up!
 
Jay leno has one of these, and he said in an interview that the same thing happened to him ..
some redneck in a pickup truck wouldn't stay off his ass , and the exhaust melted his front bumper ...
