future legacy buver

That is for sale 80 days m8. I would not bother with carzone. It's an ad graveyard. Donedeal is your best bet.

If you got 5k there is a lovely clean b4 for sale in a club for 5k. This way you will know its a solid car looked after by a Subaru junky.

No mechanical difference in Blitzens except helical front diff which makes zero difference anyway. Cosmetically you have f!ck ugly bumpers and a spoiler that looks like a fat bird sat on it.

Hi I am a bit confused by this whole Rev D thing, are all Legacy's from 2001 rev D.
see this link below.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subaru_Legacy_(third_generation)

Here is what it says

Revision DThe fourth revision of the third-generation Legacy, introduced during 2001, made several important but subtle changes to the front of the car. The fenders, grille, and headlights were altered slightly, making interchangeability with Rev1-c impossible. The headlights in the Japanese market were of the HID variety, and were slightly smaller, while the grille also shrank slightly. The HID headlights had a dashboard mounted adjustment switch that allowed the driver to re-aim the headlights to reduce glare to approaching traffic. The bonnet also became a lighter alloy, similar to that available on the STI's at the time. Compression and timing changed in order to further reduce the effect of loss of boost during the switch over from the primary to secondary stages. The ECU also got an upgrade, it is now tunable by the manufacturer or third party tuning workshops. Additional optional extras were offered upon purchase including but not limited to; a new body kit, head light surrounds, and 4-pot brakes - the stock wheels were designed to accommodate this upgrade. The Revision D legacy is Subarus best shot at the sequential twin turbo engine besides the STI revision. 11

It depends on the date they were registered, rev D have a better EcU which is capable of pulling more timing amd less of a need to map, a facelift front, no confusion. They are easily identifiable. You need to go see and drive these cars. Internet research will only tell you so much. 2 fine cars pointed out in a previous
thread, different revisions. Can't see a problem with either. One doesnt need a map and one that does has been, both minded well and nice lookin cars. It's a preference and budget question.

Thanks Eliroche.

So Any legacyB4 even a Blitzen, from 2002 onwards is rev D, and has the better ECU, and less need for Re-mapping.

Any Legacy from may 2001 onwards is rev-D. See pics below. Pay attention to headlight differences in particular.REV-C pictured below has a non-standard grille so not all look like this, but headlights and front bumper are standard
This is a REV-C
