Sunday Drivers
Was heading out the Ennis road from Limerick to Shannon today to pick the parents up at the airport...
Came round the S bend before the hill that drops down twoards Bunratty, and there they were sitting at the
corner in the new gatso van! :new_2gunsfiring_v1:
Was following behind an ambulance with its lights flashing bout 20 car lenghts behind doing bout 120-130 in a 100(dual carraigeway)
where the limit should be that anyway!!
Where it was its obvious it was there for nothing other than to print money all day! :angry1:

Anyone know if these yokes catch everyone automatically or is it for the guard inside to point and catch?
Ambulance was on the inside lane, and there was another car on the outside land directly beside it...pretty sure I was caught
but might get away with it if they're manually operated and the **** inside was distracted by the lights flashing!!

I heard if you receive it in the post...just dont pay the fine and go to court and say you never got it in the post??
Apperently they have to throw it out and there's lots of poeple getting away with it? :ponder2:

If it's one of the new Gatso vans it has to flash to get you. They have a flash but the older vans don't. The older van just has the slit in the back window but the new one you can see the spotlight etc mounted in the back.

dont think your defo gonna get done mate!!!
was leaving swords heading for drogheda bout 10 weeks ago when i passed one on the truck stop northbound on M1 doing bout 175kph....its on a bend so i had no time to stick it to the road.....fookin sh1t meself coz i already had 8 points on my license....waited every day for a harp envelope for bout 6 weeks and no sign...even now ...no sign,so your not always gauranteed to get caught.....
a good mate is a gaurd and he reckons that theres a bollox sitting in the back with a hi-zoom camera and he decides whats done and not!!!!
fook it anyway.....whats done is done!!!!

The old van's have a gimp in there and its up 2 him as to what happens
But with the new vans its all changed they even work at night and in fog the old ones didnt.
 
They are 08 transits in white and the sneeky fookers have the magnetic Garda signs on them, so when they are driving the signs are on and when they are making the roads safer by parking on a bend in a 60kph limit waiting to fook someones day up they take the signs off :angry1: and another :angry1:

Maybe, maybe not.

They can be as the garda logo's are magnets that stick onto the vans so they can be marked or not marked. It depends on the copper driving it. But If you ever seen them with the marking hopefully it will be driving other wise most of us would be fucked for points.
