Gas conversion

I dont think the isdc has any gas conversions but there is a guy on scoobyireland that has his forester converted over to gas.
He was on the Mcrae run 2 yrs ago

The big problem here is the availability of gas...there are only a few stations in the republic so not really worth the effort at this point in time.

This will change within the next couple of years. I was speaking to a chap from Bord Gais at an energy show last year who was saying they were going to roll out gas nationwide, initially targetting commercial vehicles but they had good plans for retailing to joe punter at some point too.

Dad a Ford Xr3i years ado that came from the UK.

Had a gas tank in the boot! Remember been a kid and flicking the switch,

these guys up north have done all sorts of cars including scoobies if gas is available in your location would be worth thinkin about very cheap running costs

Is it true that if the fitters of the system copy the mapping from your previously remapped car, then you could realistically run the same kind of HP on both LPG and Petrol?

Might be worth looking into for using the Scooby to commute to and from Work!!!!

Would this kind of conversion effect the tax bracket aswell?
