As above... Looking to buy an aftermarket exhaust for my 2004 sti... Uk/irish spec(think there is a difference in size to jdm?) ... Would like a brand name stainless cat back... Used or new considered....
If buying new would anyone recommend somewhere to buy? Or even get fabricated?

If you look up scooby world they have a big selection listed for uk and jdm YouTube be your friend on this to get a feel for them. I?d say there?s a good few systems knocking around how loud do you want it

I believe the miltec to be between the nur spec and say prodrive system so louder than the prodrive but not a loud as a blitz nur spec. I have changed from a prodrive myself to a nurspec so I?ll fill you in later with differences. Makokavo on here has a full miltec system and sounds great perks up on full chat probably less drone out of it than louder ones

If you could find, as Gary says, a nur spec for volume and pure burble, or kakimoto, both pretty expensive but you'd find them used handy I'd imagine.
Depending on what you want you've have the resonated or non resonated option then too. Being honest, non resonated Blitz sound epic, not sure on drone and stuff as have never been on a journey in a car that had one, but have heard a few passing and such..
Best bet is to get to a meet I reckon and hear a few different options.

Never knew you went nurspec Gary. How long have you that?

I got it off Mohar just bought a flange adapter for it and got it fitted only drove home tonight with it on fook it?s loud fair auld drone out of it but up and down the gears some sound off it nice few little pops out of it on down run. Like you Eoin have heard a good few outside car but only a few from inside. There?s a couple of things can be done to quieten it down via a bung

I'd say it'll grow on you Gary lol
Have you a sports cat or decat also? Presume your non resonated so too? Looking forward to hearing the difference. The Prodrive sounded nice alright tho

Just the back box Eoin put on. center pipe still the same with resonator and sports cat as original could swap back easily enough

I have an Apexi non resonated cat back and decatted downpipe on my car, sounds epic, very loud.

The Miltek one sounds very good. Markavo one at track day was really nice and still practical with normal driving. Think you'll be happy with it [emoji1417]
