Genuine impreza red shock going cheap if anyone is interested.

Sunday Drivers
I was in with brown subaru garage donegal town today and he showed me a shock they have had in stock for a while they would let go half price the shock is a red impreza shock not sure what year.

Sorry my phone went flat before I could finish it the part number is 20360FE302 right handside red shock we think its for bugeye. Its usually €550 including vat but he will let it go for €250

If it's only right-hand side available... it's a pointless bargain as you'd need to change a pair of shocks (Fr or Rr) so there is no imbalance. Probably why they are trying to shift em cheap.

No the reason its getting shifted on cheap is because it was a wrong order and has been there for 2 year. Never know someone might have a left sitting somewhere. Or might of buggered up a new righthand shock with irish roads

Well if soneone was going to do tjat they can still order the other but get one half price. Still a great deal.

I think its a sti shock. I had a look at there computer. They pay €400 for them including vat that what they pay for them from subaru japan.

Some people like to keep it original though. Like id shoot someone if my kegacy sidnt have the bilsteins on.

Most bilsteins are not worth what four new shocks would cost you, so that's a rediculess statement.

Like if you had a rb5 or 22b ya would be stupid to put coilovers on.

I know of two, 22b's in this club, both on coilovers and one rb5 on coilovers, don't think any of the owners are stupid for doing it.

There only cars

If you have nothing positive to say clear off and dont post in the thread. I put up what I came across its not hear to be scrutinized. Using a 22b or rb5 as an example not a fact.

I would say its stupid because its arare model and your effecting the value of the model buy putting coilovers on them. Back on topic please.

Have you ever priced up the original bilsteins for a e-tune legacy obviously not. They where design for the car and handle better with them than the e-tune I had before with tein fully adjustable so I have experience d the difference hense what im saying it would of been stupid to change the bilsteins on my leggy. So there nothing wrong with my statement but just tour a small bit argumentative.

Everything I said was positive!

IMO it was good of you to post up about the shock going cheap, it was other lads (rightly so) sayying it is pointless changing one shock! This is an open forum that can be seen by the hole world, so if you don't like to be scrutinised, don't post!

Your "clear off" statement is laughable, I have been a paying member and commitee member at one stage in this club for nearly ten years!!!

Have you ever priced original bilsteins? How much were they for future reference?

My point been, if lads are only spending 3/4 grand on a leggy and when there shocks go bang, do they spend bilsteins money or do they go with the cheapest option, I like everything to be standard to but would you replace your suspension with like for like if it was half the cost of your car, people are buying these cars on a budget now, there not buying brand new cars cause they don't have the money.
