Getting Her Back Wednesday

Didnt bother to ring me back after 5 mins, tried a couple of time off my phone, didnt pick up so used someone elses phone & what do you know he answered.

He got very short with me altogether, when i mannerly suggested a refund if the car wasnt ready by friday he replied he "didnt like the attitude",he couldnt tell me for sure when the car would be ready, said it was with the mechanic. But when i ask was it just sitting there or being worked on he got very short with me again.

I've been nothing but mannerly in my dealings with these people.

And how exactly Mr. Dealer is this my fault?

What a stroppy cow

Really sorry 2 hear about tis lad, nothin worse dan some1 lyin and tryin 2 fool u.My brother had a similar prob wit a garage doin repairs on his car, bein told oh fixed 4 2morro definitely.Eventually told da garage man dat if it wasn't fixed by end of da wk he'd be dealin wit his solicitor from den on and not him.Replied wit 'Oh dere's no need 4 dat it wil be fixed'.Car was repaired 4 da followin day.As da lads say ur well wit in ur rites lad as he sold u an un-roadworthy car.Hope it works out gary.

I've had big trouble too with a dealer extremely close too that one, gary, If you've been there you'd know, but the coil pack went in my car and i had hassle just too get one, eventually he got me one but from a second hand car, in the mean time with the coil pack going, it effected the lambada sensor and the cat, So said it too him that it wouldn't pass the nct with that, he turned around and said the 6 weeks he guarantee's me for NCT was up and he wouldn't fix the car for me, i got so sick of them i just gave up and fixed the car myself through a subaru garage, ????? but i know the car is perfect now, I know i really should have persued it further but it would have just caused me too much stress. I know exactly what you are going through. i have the car 6 months and the car was off road for about 9weeks due too that Pr*ck.

I hope it works out gary and it doesn't stress ya out too much, You are goin down the right path with the legal advice, also mention the s.i.m.i. which i know for a fact that your garage is part off. Best of luck

John

If anyone wants me too change that first sentance le me know and i will, But i dont think i'm naming anyone,

They finally got round to look at my car today, they've replaced the bolt that was missing but didnt replace the gouged metal plate.Basically they wont change the part,I dont have the patience to deal with this so i will have to ge this repaired off my own back. They'll have the car tracked tomorrow & ready for collection tomorrow-so they say.

If the bolt stays in it should be safe enough even the with the gouge in the metal plate.I wouldnt say there's much torsional or shear load going through that plate,if there was the single bolt would have sheared too.

Pissed off to the hilt

Back luck Gary. Would it be possible to have it repaired by welding another plate over the gouge?

gary sorry to hear about this lad nothing as bad as not getting joy when you knoew youre right i would get the car checked by someone you know to make sure it is right and if there is anything wrong threaten your solicitor and going to th simi dirty pr*cks

It's on the drivers side, identical plate on the left, the two bolts for camber adjustment are attached to it.

Got her back this afternoon, its been tracked but that hasnt solved the problem of pulling to the left, when you let go of the wheel it veers off course.

Can this thread be closed now-just glad to have it back, albeit minus my ipod which went missing from the car :hammerhead:

No more fight left, wouldnt havent got me anywer arguing with em,they're a total lost cause,Ciaran from ASD is given the car a look over on monday so i'll pay for whatever it needs to get right-within reason. Will not have anymore dealings with that "dealer" ever again.I think it's clear i dont recommend them

Tried to buy a car off them before and he gave me 3 different prices, walked away and would never go back either :snooty:
