Getting window Tints off.....

Petrolheads
N.C.T is up end of the month so I need to get the front tints off the car.
Was wondering if there is easy method to getting off the tint or do I have just just rip it off ?

no easy way man , takes time and warm soapy water to remove the glue , try keeo the tint at a right angle to glass when pulling it off tho leaves less glue on glass
 
peel off tint go as slow as you can usually will come off in one go as that is the easy part
use cellullose thinners on a cloth and rub the glue left on glass
use a blade to scrape most of the glue off alternatively use autoglym tar and glue remover
let the blade do most of the work bye scrapping off as much as you can
as you are scraping keep spraying adhesive remover on the area
theres no real easy way to it
usually about 20 - 30 minutes per glass :thumbsup:
 
I used a wallpaper steamer and a sponge. Had the glue off in 20 mins per window.
No blades or chemicals used at all.
 
yeah thats true Tommy
i generally would use a fresh blade every time i remove a tint
never scratched one myself but deffo a possibility for someone who doesn't do it regularly
