good riddance legacy diesel

well after being a loyal Subaru customer for many many years and owning 4 legacys my diesel has finally been traded in and has destroyed all my faith in Subaru, one of the worst engines I have owned, problems included heavy knocking on cold mornings, intermittent knocking at 80kph when hot, clutch judder, smoky engine, intermittent lack of power and worst of all a dealer that didn't give a monkeys, I will never buy another
 
Jesus Andy sounds like a bad car , any more info on what year , model etc , no harm adding all that to warn someone possibly thinking of buying one , id be all on for naming and shaming bad dealers but dont think we can on here
 
Havent heard any real bad about the diesels, its more a case of that particular car you had im afraid

wasn't just the one diesel I had 2 and both had same knocking after around 80k!!!!!
 
might not be a subaru issue every diesel on the road has issues with fuel in this country im sick fitting injectors where fuel quality is the problem
 
Andy sorry for your troubles , hopefully your new motor will bring
you years of trouble free motoring and if you ever feel like getting back behind
the wheel of a scooby make sure you call here first to get all the do's & dont's
