Got a legacy, 2.5 ejo251 engine? Rare model is it?

Took a 2001 legacy on a trade in
i assumed it was the normal 2.0 twin turbo but its ej025 on chassie plate
im not sure weather to break it or sell it on
its a clean car just needs a oxygen sensor
i know 2.5 tax will be a killer for some people
fairly standard car, be shame to break it
can anybody shed some light on it

Check under the alternator should say Ej20 if factory or ej25 if 2.5, never came 2.5 but nearly always mistaken as 2.5
