Got milled on my bike last friday!! Here's the result...

bike is only a piece of metal at the end of the day and can be replaced you cant...... glad to hear you ok.....

No its a total right off. Well thats what the ins co said after they got it checked. They didn't even offer it back for me to fix. There is not a straight piece on it.

Its a 02 and only 12k miles. Was an absolute minter before hand. There is a big dent on the tank that some part of my body made. Not sure whice part!! :ponder2:
If it was the ground that made it it would have been scrapped...

Seemingly there is 10-15 grand worth of damage to the 06 passat. The driver has a chipped bone in his shoulder so the assessor was sayin. It was decided that he was 100% in the wrong.
Obvious enough but its a piece of mind to have that said.

Must admit I'm feeling a bit nervous about saddling back up... Don't want it to affect me like that but it really knocks the aul confidence.
 
Don't let it get to ya, I had an off in the ice a few years back and made me mad paro getttin back on it, especially on left bends, but when ya get back in the saddle and take it easy for a bit, you'll be laughin again soon.

Rs/Ra is selling a kx 500 2 stroke its a monster for handy money all new parts bike is like new
 
Jesus you are blessed man! I was behind a biker that crashed a cbr400 a few months back some tosser in a car swerved onto our side of the road for no reason, biker locked up the back wheel, got thrown of the bike and slid about 50metres down the road. Luckily he wasn't badly hurt either, just goes to show the difference a proper lid and proper leathers make.

Had a nasty off myself was in hospital for 5 weeks but the first chance i had i got back on a bike just to get shot of any demons.

Im selling my 99 Honda VFR800 if its any good...linked brakes with ABS is always good!!
 
Jesus, thats some whack mate....well the main thing is you came away from it....had a mate same thing happened and as soon as he could, he got back on the bike and drove it, said it was the best thing he ever did.

Your lucky it wasnt a taxi bus, your neck been broke,as for bike bit of t cut, and few cable ties and she b grand, that a fazer 600 or 1000? had a thunder cat meself and i flipped it tryn to to a rothwell on it. :hammerhead:
