Got milled on my bike last friday!! Here's the result...

Same here. When I was 16 I had an accident on my cross bike. spine broken in 2 separate places -9 months took me getting out of this and afterall I was written off the competition by the doctors. :/
Then my dad said.. well you can't drive the motorbikes anymore, then you will drive a car and that's how my short carrier in local rallies started ;)

Had a taxi driver pull out and knock me from my bike before. I was only on a 125 but you still come off them all the same way!! Was bruised everywhere from my chin right down to my knee caps, and the hospital realised i had a broken wrist from it 6 weeks later!! :wall:

Taxi driver drove off and all.
 
Jesus fella... that's a mess!!! Glad your ok! How's the confidence about getting back up on a bike again! Pretty shook I'd say!

Had a bad, bad bike crash back in 2002... hit a telegraph pole 8 foot up and smashed myself up good.... broken arm (2 places) with nerve damage to it.... also broke collarbone, ribs, back, dislocated both knees... etc etc ! Haven't been back on a road bike since! Count myself lucky been alive and can't risk it again! Mind you I was nuts on motorbikes! No sense and to young! :cuckoo:

Glad your OK... :thumbsup: and hope you get back in the saddle, as you will miss em if you give em up...I do! :doh:
 
I had a couple of big ones too, but touch wood everything is straight and full working order again. your a lucky fella and take stock while you can

When i snapped my Femur i couldnt get out of bed to go to the toilet so had to get the nurse to bring me the bed pan, unfortunatly i had the runs and had to get some old nurse to wipe my arse.

That would be my worst nightmare!! At least she wasn't some nice young hot nurse!!

Holy sh1t man!! Thats unbelievable!! Sorry to hear that.
A couple of my mates went to the scene of a bike accident a while ago. The bloke went into a speed wobble and was thrown from the bike, he hit a road sign and it chopped his arm off. His lid came off too and the lads thought his head was still in it!! Can't remember if he lived or not... Poor man!!
 
I think everyone that drives bikes has a story like this. A lad I worked with was kill in the lebanon after been there for almost a year when a bike he was on hit a car coming the opposite direction. Cut his arm off and cut into this upper body. Terriable.

But bike can be great to. People get killed in cars, plains etc. When your times up it's up.

Ouch. Hope everything is ok. People never look out for the biker but at least its only metal and every thing is still attached
 
Thanks again for the comments lads. My whole body is still very sore. The pain killers the doc prescribed are helpin a bit.

I think you're right Eric, if my number had been up last Friday thats what would have killed me without a doubt!! I've obviously some unfinished business on this Earth and I can't go yet!!
 
Someone was working overtime looking out for ya,but as lads on here have said the bike can be replaced you can't,glad you ok,hope you have a speedy recovery :thumbsup:

Yea ya can get banned on that site for mentioning a car full stop!! They don't know what diversity is!! :lol:
 
If you want to talk about cars you have to call them cage's and a person who drives a car is a cager, you can get sin binned for month's for cage talk.
