Had a bad, bad bike crash back in 2002... hit a telegraph pole 8 foot up and smashed myself up good.... broken arm (2 places) with nerve damage to it.... also broke collarbone, ribs, back, dislocated both knees... etc etc ! Haven't been back on a road bike since! Count myself lucky been alive and can't risk it again! Mind you I was nuts on motorbikes! No sense and to young! :cuckoo:

Holy sh1t man!! Thats unbelievable!! Sorry to hear that.
A couple of my mates went to the scene of a bike accident a while ago. The bloke went into a speed wobble and was thrown from the bike, he hit a road sign and it chopped his arm off. His lid came off too and the lads thought his head was still in it!! Can't remember if he lived or not... Poor man!!

No need ot be sorry lad... Still here and made a full recovery! Taught me a serious lesson though and like yourself feel blessed to still be alive... only take calculated risks now which kinda rules road bikes out!!! :doh:

Definately someone looking over you lad! Glad to hear your on the mend.... and enjoy the pain killers too.... they can be sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!! :icon_eyes:
