I got myself a Mica Blue '00 Classic Impreza WRX at the weekend

Vey clean car, Irish car, low mileage, FSH. Its in fairly standard trim other than an Apexi cat-back exhaust. Lovely car to drive - a big step up from my E30 3 series.

It's factory spec other than the exhaust. I took it for a few back road runs at the weekend, I find the handling & acceleration are incredible compared to what Im used to

They were taken in Murroe, about 8 miles from Limerick on the Tipperary side.

First thing I noticed is that the ABS kicks in a fair bit under hard braking, so I want to put a set of good tyres under it.

Im not sure where Id start in terms of upgrades, there is only 51K miles on it so its pretty tight still. Id like to change the taillight lenses to non-orange ones. What upgrades would you suggest?

Nearly every turbo car seems to have an aftermarket dump valve fitted. Does this give any performace advantage?

Ah cool... Thought it looked like somewhere i was goina buy a house a few months ago.......

Anyway, Upgrades Im personally going for are as follows.....
Upgraded Anti Roll Bar
General Suspension upgrades
Upgraded ECU (specifics to be decided)
Upgraded Fuel Pump
Upgraded Injectors
4 Pot Calipers (front end)
2 Pot Calipers (rear end)
Turbo Back Exhaust system...
Front Mount Intercooler...
and thats just the start of it...

Best of luck with your new car, on both classics I had, I put the original Sti lights on the back. I think the look the best and gets rid of the orange.
