Got Pulled Today

Well people where constatly warning me the garda where gonna pull me just because of the car i drive and today it happen, :cry:
even though it was my fault.

Today i let my girlfriend get behind the wheel of my scooby for the first time (she loved it ), so i took her down bull island and let her drive on the beach and after a few up and downs of scaring her self with the turbo she got bored and decided she wanted to go home. So just b4 we left i went into a nice big empty corner of the beach and pulled a nice hand brake turn (my first in this car) and went on my merry way. But b4 i could get of the beach i got pulled by a unmarked car :(, And what a nice garda he was. first he didnt belive me i was insured, then done me for no nct, and my tax disk was at home still in the letter. (i know my stupidity not having it), then he procceded to tell me that by the time he was through with me id never get insured again, and that driving on a half empty beach was a privilage not a right. :twofinger:

Oh well , doing my full test on the 12th, lucky i can swap it for a full uk licence (if i pass) due to the fact im welsh :)
 
They do be just sitting there watching out for that sort of stuff.Happend to me along time ago in a honda type r.
The ba*tard.. went to town on me... :angry:
 
Tyres were fooked no tax no nct and i was doing a few laps of the back axel :D
They were in a jeep unmarke he said they tought it was stolen and they were gonna ram it
so it could have worse...
 
Il just have to wait for the symonds then so, also done me for no L plates and driving while unacompanyed. Only thing im worryed about is points on the licence.
 
here,s a good one for a change the gards were ok, first time gettin done in the subaru, got clocked doin 143 coming into mullingar after driving all the way from mayo wiyh out seeing any law, only live 5 mins from mullingar, any way was flying towards mullingar before it turns into a dual carrige way me old man was behind me seen the law he slowed down, tried to ring me and warn me but was to late, eventually pulled in,, the ban gard that was there stuck the gun in the window and said what the fu*k are you playin at, so to put a bit of humour on things i said your gun is broke i was going faster than that, the other gard that was there aswell tought that was hilarious, i got off lightly 2 points and 80 yo yo fine,
 
Nah this cop didnt even give me a chance to talk, the way he was going on at me ud swear i just rallyed my car down Grafton Street.

Only ever been done for speeding once and that was when they had almost finished the Naas round the 3 lanes where open on a sunday morning with no traffic and they had a 60 kmh speed limit the whole stupid lengh of it, and they caught me doing 100kmp on the gun.
 
Wetpatch .. believe me.. Your Gardas are really nice guys (usually) German POLIZEI and Polish POLICJA are fookin biches imagine that :shoot:

I was letting the girlfriend have a go of it. Also i was bored silly and wanted a drive.
 
well mate you are not the first and i am sure you wont be the last to be caught on that beach garda are there a lot, plenty of the toyota glanza boy racers been caught there....
 
Haha yeah, thing is i drive more road weary in this car than i have in anyother car/bike ive owned. Ah well just wait for the symonds now and c what he's gonna do me for.
 
I had a Toyota Levin with a noisey exhaust for a year and was pulled twice in it. The first day I had it coz I had no discs in the window(fresh in from japan) and second time I accelerated very fast past an unmarked car which I had seen but the noise caught their attention. they just said give it a rest and I was on my way. Never pulled in the 2 door STi (touch wood) so far. It really depends how you drive the car and your attitude when they pull ya.
 
Yup i know, it was a 1 off going down there, just 1 question the gard that stopped me never gave me a ticket or anything just mummbled something about having to produce tax/insurance/nct in 10 days is that normal not to get no ticket when they ask u to do that?
 
did he ask you for your name, address, reg and insurance details??? if he did you have ten days to produce them at your local garda station. my guess is if you do this it may be the last you hear of the matter.
 
Everybody knows that they are patrolling the beaches.. You pulled a handbrake turn on a public beach what do you expect? Dollymount strand of all places, in a quiet area or not they are gonna go to town on you. Plus they were probably watching your G/F doing a few laps also. A scooby does stand out especially the noise.

Sounds to me like you just got a "producer". Show your licence etc at whatever station he said and I'd say that's the end of it!

Guards often go on with that crap about "......I'll do you for this and that and the other....". It might be possible to have a bit more respect for them if they didn't bother with it.................maybe ;)
