Have ye ever been on a Ryanair flight lads? Next time, have a look at the faces of the staff - that would be everyone's face in a country ruled by Michael O'Leary!! The national equivalent of Ryanair could be prob somewhere like Venezuala (loads of money but joe soap on a couple of bucks a day!!)

Agreed, that lad would screw his own Ma if it earned him an extra euro, the work practices in Ryanair are off the wall, all to his benefit and his staffs detriment. Dunno why he would be seen as a good leader, he is a ruthless business man who puts profit before people. I'm not saying the government don't but seriously it would be worse!
I thought when I worked at home in construction loosing 35. Percent off every cheque I lifted was plenty in the boom the government lifted plenty of money from the working man another question would be where did all that go I'm not great with Maths but I lifted over 65 grand in c45s for 16 months and got back just under 21 in the same time I'm one person that believes the government fiddled a hell of a lot more than was ever showed on there booksDagnut said:Damage was done a long time ago. People have very short memories. The rot set in as soon as the boom started. Greed set in.
no one was willing to pay extra taxes, we are culpable whether you like it of not. Any decent country with a social agenda to look after there people pay high taxes. Norway , Sweden....we had a bubble and didn't put anything back in..we just took took took...
when Ireland was poor in the 80's we spent money on education and health care...people cared...as soon as we got a few quid we all started thinking about 3 homes, apartments in Bulgaira...driving the price of houses up and driving people out of the country...and voted back in those criminals because they let it happen and let people line there pockets.
The generation above ours who already had homes.....but wanted to buy more and weren't taxed....they fucked it for us.. but they aren't suffering now are they? No it's our generation who have to leave the country or have massive mortgages and like in negative equity.

Dont agree. The safety record of ryanair cant be falted. The staff working there arent forced to be there. Its a job.
The work practices are there so the the airline stays in business and second to allow flights to anywhere in europe for e30-90 etc. The cost of a train journey.
If the country was ran similar then debts would be less. And money would not be wasted.
.......................No why would I be offended I was just saying my comment was not going to be mature LOL

What works for a company can't be applied to a country. What would his social agenda be like? How would he treat unemployed/incapacitated/elderly?
Scary.....
