4 doors are better than 2 doors
Lads, got a MY98 GT555. Does anybody have any link to info on them? How many were made etc?
Is it sonic blue 74F or 555 blue 74F, or are they the same??!
Also the where i would get the proper badges and pictures of the correct positions for them as the previous owner removed them! :hammerhead:

Any help, info or links appreciated. Thanks.

I had one... Not sure how many where made but when I bought mine I was told there where only approx a dozen sold through Subaru Ireland. Does it have the alcantara centers on the seats. I've pics somewhere... I'll post them up as soon as I find them. Gets some pics up of your own and let me know the reg.., as you never know it might be my old car.

cheers lads. yes it has the proper seats and is actually down as a GT555 on tax book.

Jamie, that looked like a nice clean example of one!

Thanks for the links but really want to try and get the original badges if i can!

@ jamie the only classic uk 555 impreza iirc that had alcantara centers on the seats were the gt series II i could be wrong on that though all the others just had standard uk interior or did the 555 model have them as well
@ toyscrota i'm not sure how many of the gt555 were made been a i would have thought there is only one code for 74f but i could be wrong on that,as its an irish car that's why it's down as gt555 on the book.you could try roger clark motorsport for original badges and decals but you're probably going to pay a pretty penny for them or maybe work out cheaper from the stealer

@ toyscrota... I dunno how easy it'll peoove to get those badges as it was a limited production car here in Ireland... And possibly a few other European countries so they may no longer exist. If you can find a company that do vehicle wraps and signs they may be able to re- produce them if you can get a good pic of all the badges.

That one I owned was a minter.... 1 elderly previous owner with low mileage a some Graham Goode niceties like the centre pod and dials... Plus it had the quad lights too which where fitted from new by the dealer. I always regretted selling it... But the V6 type r I bought afterwards made up for it.

@ Gordon... Nah... The GT555 came with alcantara seats as standard... One of the attractions for me when buying as it was just a nicer interior to the standard UK cars.

Thanks lads.

I know a main dealer very well and also a very good sign writer who's had Subaru's himself.
Best pictures I've got so far have been of your old car Jamie!
They are the original factory positions ya?

If it's GT555 on tax book sounds like you have one of the very very few that were sold through Subaru Ireland and is an original Irish car.

Maybe the central statistics office or similar could help out with how many of them were registered here. Chance your arm, ya never know!

Ya it was bought in Singland motors in Limerick when they were a main dealer.

Anybody have any better pics of the logos and positions???

Ooops! Looks to be the best pics with decals in your ad. Doing a vast google search brings up little or nothing. Best bet would be find someone who was in the trade when these came out.

As for decal positions, if I order the TypeR decals for the Integra I'd get a map of the car and a template of where they go to ensure they're placed in their factory position. Would Subaru decals be the same?

Nothing on google Johnny... I'd a look. Hard to find anything on them as they where only sold here in Ireland as a sepcial edition and possibly somewhere else if I recall right... I think the Netherlands or possibly France.
