Hawk eye impreza sti.

Hello Derek,

Not many, if any to note

The Standard STI's have a knocking noise from the rear shocks (which is not terminal / a failure)

Apart from that, on the three that I have owned (all imported from Japan) I have not had any faults :subaru:

They are very Solid cars IMO

If you are buying an Import - Condition is Very Important :subaru:

Cheers,

Michael

no faults i can report any way lad
plus i can sell you a top class one brother :afro:

either standard well far from standard nice spec or
a full blown show car in the for sale section

no issues with mine so far but i only have it 6 months

As Michael said the shocks knock, its an easy fix. thats the only fault with mine in 3 years.. Well the 2.5 litre tax is a pain the ass to pay on the Irish/Uk models :icon_mad:

That knocking shock issue is right across the new age range and all Subaru garages know of it and can sort it. Problem is the grease drys out in them so they need to be re-greased. Some places fit a grease nipple and apply grease hat way, others strip them right down and remove the old grease and apply fresh stuff. :subaru:

not 1 hint of a problem with mine so far , shocks knock a bit in the rear at times but dont notice it too much ,

Really solid well built car imo , plus at current prices they are serious good value with the tax been the only sore point , even mpg is respectable on motorway journeys

I want a Hawk now too... saw this GB270 on Pistonheads the other day and got the horn for it now!
