hi lads I have an issue since I bought my wagon with the headlamp levelling light staying on I found some corrosion on the front sensor and I cleaned it with contact cleaner and refitted it ,the light is still on so im not sure if it needs to be reset or if I just haven't fixed it and it needs more work.anyone any experience with the system ???

have read issues surrounding the motor dec , apparently they just stop working and new one is needed

its annoying when your driving it with this stupid light on .the light are grand even passed nct but they wont drop when ya load the car etc ,I may do some research on nasioc id say some one has seen it

supposidly 2 sensors to the rear of the car for leveling dec , pricey parts 500 sterling in uk ,

maybe try clean em up and vaseline to waterproof them

iv seen the sensors tom they are 1 on the right front wishbone and 1 on the rear right lateral link the one on the front had corrosion on the pins which iv cleaned but id say the sensor is fucked :banghead

Subaru lights seem to be set very low they were in all the legacy.s I bought anyway use to have to adjust them up after buying them . Never had a problem with the sensors :dontknow:

id say that is why mine passed the test joe they are low also ,the sensors seem to be an issue on the hawk

is the light staying on on the dash Dec. I had to replace a bar on one of them on the rear of mine its was only a few euro but I doubt thats your problem

ye Gerry after you start up about 5 seconds it comes on and stays on it is bugging me ,no my bars are intact iv checked them

How's it going Dec, I mentioned to you that I got them to reset OK last year and the light shut off.

For some reason during the heat of the summer this year it went again.

Here's the thread on ScoobyNet for the re-initialisation procedure that I followed, it's on the third page.

One of the guys there mentioned on page two that he found a distributor in Germany with the sensor for around £100 but that he reckoned that you could only buy a minimum of three.

However I just tried a fake order just now and it allowed me to add just 1 to my cart.

Hope this is of help.

Cheers, P.
