Heat shield noise legacy twin scroll

I just found the source of the worlds most annoying noise,it was coming from the heat shield on the down pipe after the turbo.
I was wondering would it be a good idea too remove this heat shield completely and heat wrap this down pipe instead?

jasus the c*nt of a yoke ,that's what it was .I wouldn't remove it Adrian id repair it with a weld if ya can

My weld would be tasty but id say your spot on there Dec.I was changing a faulty speed sensor when i found it,it was a pure mistake what ever way i busted my head off it rolling under the car it made that nasty sound.Do ya know anyone called "Dec" that is the best at welding heat shields
