rite lads, the car would be nice and hot driving alone and the heater would be set to about 26 but there would be cold air coming out, and then if i put it all the way up to 31 or 32 there would be hot air there again? :dontknow:

any ideas??

if you are getting heat at some point it means you are getting hot coolant to the heater rad, i'd look towards the heater control or tap

  you know i've the exact same problem for ages now and can't figure it out,has to be a sensor gone somewhere :ponder2: :ponder2:

  if i've to hire a midget with a flashlight to search around my engine bay to find the problem i will

Even in all my neurosis I am not bothered...if it gets cold I just crank it up to 32...toasty  Let me now if ya figure it out

just remembered had one of these that was giving similar problems and it turned out to be an outside temp sensor. the system uses inside and outside temp sensors to control the temp.

where would you find that on the car?
outside one is on the front panel stay in front of the rad, as far as i can remember the inside one is under the dash conected to a tube that runs to the heater control
