Hello all,

i own a 93 WRX Type RA, recently spent a small fortune forging the engine ready for some more goodies, I love the Ra. such a raw version of the impreza, the wife enjoys it too :icon_grin: as it is also the family car.

i have came across this forum while searching for content for my own website www.imprezatypera.com and i thought i would join as there seems so good info on here.

the evo is a fq 340 running just under 400, the impreza is everymuch as equal to 120mph because thats all the early ra box goes, later versions had longer fifth.

Standard 0-60 on my version ra is about 4.4 secs with 240 bhp im currently running 316bhp so 0-60 would be a little less now.
the evo standard also has a 0-60 time of about 4.4sec up is less also now . EVO 18K

RAwith forging etc 6k thats about the difference :lol: both great cars the impreza wins on price :lolpoint:

love to hear that,,lads spendin a heap on evo's and then modest owl impreza's with a few bits done to it can keep up,fair play,,love the ra's!!
 
Its all about the Gear Box close ratio on the ra i dont think an normal import or uk car would really stick it.
Evo and civic have now been sold. and me im looking for Spec c :subaru:

Holly mother of Divine SUBARU's thats a nice little spec....

Fair play to ya lad.... ya have done well on that yoke....
The only complaint I would have and its just a personal opinion but i have them on all cars.... Would look better in my eyes if it wasnt white.....
Not everyone agrees but I just not the biggest fan of white cars..... (Urs still looks damn good tho)
 
Lovely car Nathan. I had a version 2 type ra myself for 5 years and loved every minute of it. Good luck with yours. :thumbsup: :subaru: :subaru:
