Im Rob, I work for Subaru as a Technician, and own my own tuning and rally prep shop with my brother as well. The day to day at a dealership gets a little slow sometimes so I enjoy helping my brother stripping cars down, seam welding, caging them and I build fun one off parts, engines, transmissions and turbo kits ect and do all of the tuning. We have about 8 or 9 subies between us now but going fast in our rally cars is what really gets me going.

I fly in yearly for Rally of the Lakes then travel all over after the race, so if there is any meets going on please let me know. Im going to try to find a hurly match when Im over by Stoneyford visiting friends.
 
Hello and welcome.....unfortunately the rally of the lakes isn't an ideal place for a meet. Over the past few years it has attracted the wrong element of car enthusiasts and generally the members here tend to avoid it. The ones that do go generally meet in groups of two or three to avoid attracting the wrong type of attention.

Welcome along rob :thumbsup: some interesting projects you have going on there by the sounds of it :clap:. Your over the May bank holiday weekend I'm sure we will have something going on :thumbsup:.
Can probley sort out a hurling match too if that's stoneford co Kilkenny as I'm from Kilkenny :thumbsup:

Get yourself to a dubs game and watch how the big boys play.
We had a few lads over from the states a few years ago went for a spin up the mountains with them.
 
wWlcome, pity I'm not for killarney this year as I've had to cut back the travelling to rallies as I'm sitting in a new built gc8 for this years Northern Ireland championship and the price of entries to rallies this year is mental, but sure we do it for the love of it. Any pics of your shop over there and the cars you're building or built.
