help needed with brakes !

have just found out my front discs are warped and need replacing , how big a disc can i get ? i have a 00 classic with standard calipers , and 17" wheels
all help greatfully accepted !

I've had similar problems in the past Mervyn, a bit of an urban myth that discs warp.

But an old brake upgrade is a good idea anyway. Ksports from Proparts, Davelegacy has some AP's, briancollins is selling brembo's.

Or someone like godspeed in the UK do a 330mm brake upgrade kit for your standard 4 pot calipers. Bigger discs, spacer for the calipers etc.

Give proparts a ring on 018030222 they'll tell you what the crack is and they do good deals on discs for club members to.

whats the crack with my discs then , feels like theres a little gremlin tapping the pedal every time i hit the brakes ??? Have 85000 miles done on standard discs .

Could be your brake pad indicators are bent in to much, Did you check to see if they are?

85k on one set of discs? Thats good going.

DOES NT MAKE ANY SENSE ALRIGHT, ONLY GOT A FULL SERVICE INCLUDING NEW PADS ALL ROUND LAST MONTH ? how would i check this ?
