this might sound stupid but ive just bought my self a 2000 wrx type ra jap import ment to be 280 out of the factory ive had a few stis and a type r coupe and this thing is a bullet just as fast as any of the stis ive had iam just wondering is it just a wrx or is it an sti engine ??? ive been reading into it and dont know what to belive.

The 2000 WRX RA is also 280bhp out of the factory. Just doesn't have dccd, roof vent or few other of the sti RA bits
