Help wanted Hunting Vivio

well fella's myself and sharleen took the vivio for a spin as far as Thomastown today, I noticed before we left that the car was idling around 1800 to 2000rpm it had previously been around 800 to a 1000. I didint think to much of it and just drove her on we parked up when we got there and she was still doing it. We let her cool down for a while and when we came back same think in and around 2k, so we decided to head home. After being stopped at some road works for a few min we went to drive on again and all of a sudden it started to hunt between 800 and 1000 rpm, no matter what i did with the throttle it stayed doing the same thing. so took of the battery (thanks to a call to STI tuning) to reset the ECU. after i have done that it returns to idling at 2k again for 5min and then its back to square one?

I can see where there looks to be a boost leak but don't think this would be it as it goes away when i reset the ecu for a min.

all help welcomed

I know man i have no break down cover on the car is it is a temp transfer. I was going to try get it to STI tuning but couldnt get it brought that far. As it stands it was 150 to get it lifted home :angry1:

anyone in the kildare area that knows what there at that could look at would be great. can be paid in cash or beer?

We have the genuine main dealer diagnostic machine there that covers 92-97 subarus incl vivios.
