wel lads, can anybody suggest what to do??
i have a 00 irish gt impreza,i was told when i bought it that it has sti6 conversion.engine,box......theres a vf28 on it with a fmic,induction kit,kakimoto exhaust and de-cated
had her on the rollers yesterday and its only puttin out 255 flywheel hp
211 ftlb flywheel torque
185 wheel hp
the boost graph isn't great either.what, can anyone tell me should it be boosting.
at 3200rpm its at 0.6 and slowly rises to just over 0.9
i know my dump valve is very slightly leaking, could this be the cause or does anyone have any ideas?????????????????

you would need to fix the leak and get her mapped for the mods

get a uprated fuel pump and up the boost to 1.3 bar and you should have about 300/310 bhp

change the bov (or take urs appart and fix the leak)
map for the parts you have! upgrade your injectors and fuel pump
should have a very very different car on your hands then my man

Fix the boost leak and that should sort your problem. The car cannot build pressure if you have a leak to atmosphere. I'd imagine it will boost higher than 0.9bar when you do fix it as it'd be unusual to only be mapped to 0.9bar with those mods.

cheers lads, thanks for all the replys.
ders already a walbro fuel pump and yellow injectors(440).got a new dump valve off my mate last night so im gona get that on it later.
for the mappin side of things,i cant make up my mind on what ecu to run,any suggestions???

Everybody will have there own opinion on that pal and they will only give you the best advice, i myself am going for simtek with anti lag, a lot of the guy's on here will be running that, but again i think its best for me, and can only suggest. But what you decide is best for you. All the best mate.

A 00 Impreza can be Ecutek mapped, so no need to change the ECU

Hello Alan,

As Phil says above, an Ecutek map on your existing Ecu is the best & most economical option for your car and mods

Cheers,

Michael
