Barry, I hope you have asked the owners of the cars that you have used on the top banner of your website for permission to use the images.

fantastic! the response has been great so far. I think the day is great value and if it's successful we'll have another in october. I'm also planning on offering membership for 2011 which will reduce costs even further. there will be large discounts for members. something like 3 trackday.ie events for €525. that works out at €175 per trackday which i think is great value for money.

join us on facebook or twitter and we'll keep you informed!

There is, but i dont think any one else in this country orginises track days over a specified website...its always from a club or a few clubs.

yeah, thats exactly it. the VIP days died off a bit this year and there wasn't enough club days for my liking. alot of clubs were just about scraping togeather the numbers for days so i said i'd throw togeather a website where anyone can come along for a trackday, or a group from a club could come and book a load of spots taking the hassle of organising a full day out of it. there should be a nice variety of cars there. some seriously tasty machines signed up already, although thats not the point, all cars are welcome.

i put a thread in the events section
https://isdc.ie/forum/threads/22517/ feel free to link the website on any forums you're on. the more the merrier

the numbers are limited; probably 50, but in my experience lately, trackdays are hard to fill so oversubscription shouldn't be a problem. don't worry there wont be traffic jams at dunlop, the number of cars on track is limited by mondello to 25 at any one time anyway. it usually works well because you have guys taking a break, letting the car cool off while other guys are out lapping. I've been to days in the UK with 70 cars with out a problem

i would consider half days but when you crunch the numbers they aren't that much cheaper so they are less value for everyone but i would still consider it. if you can't stay the full day there is nothing stopping you arrivng late/leaving early.

Will you be looking at orginising track days over in the UK and europe etc(nurberg ring  )
