Hey im just after joining

Im 21 from Kilkenny City i drive a silver 00 five door Subaru Impreza lx

I was just wondering down the road what i can do to the engine i want to get a little more power out of it.

I plan on having this car for about a year and a half at least untill i get get a upgraded version 1.8l or 2.0l

so what can i do chip remap inductionkit what can i do to the engine ?

Cant really do that lads only driving about 5 months so insurance company will laugh at me going for the test next month.

I live in the centre of kilkenny city so i walked every where no need for a car back then got a job after leaving school so got the car to travel to work.

So i cant remap or chip the car or even an induction kit would be useless i hate civics and want to get them off my ass so thats why i want the little extra power i know vtecs will beat me but 1.4s or 1.6s want them off my ass and plus id like the extra power to boot anyway

There's not a great deal you can do in all honesty, especially if she's a 1.6 litre. You can throw money at improving the handling, etc. But in fairness, you'd be better off saving your money until you can get a turbo model.

You can get an induction kit for a 2.0 non turbo HERE but not 100% sure if there's a version for the 1.6 engine.

You can join Impreza Sport.net and get plenty of info from a big crowd of normally-aspirated scooby drivers!

Solution: Buy a Legacy B4, cheaper to insure than an Impreza and will definitely solve the infestation of civics on your ass! :lol: Comfortable too!
 
Allright cheers better off saving my money then and upgrading when i can cheers for the replys lads hope to meet yee all soon at some meet or event
 
Welcome fella... as mentioned... you'd be better upgrading the handling then throwing cash at a 1.6 engine!
