Hi all i'm back....advise needed...going shopping

In my opinion that's a cheap car. Wouldn't be a huge fan of colour or wheels but that's just personal preference! If in good nick it's lot of car for the money.
 
So what's the advise....stay away or have a look? Anyone have any history on it?

I rang about that car months ago, around August of '12 and it was for sale a fair while before I even rang up. Its your man Phil Kirwan in Wexford selling it for that lent of time. He had a few cars there when I was after an STI, but everyone one of them he had, had a lot of mileage on them for my liking. I never went to view it now but 96K Miles on a 7 year old car at the time I was looking annoyed me so I never pursued it... Each to their own tho, I did like the colour. I'd be careful, could be a bill of wear and tear on it a few months down the line.


The guy does deal with Subarus whos selling it btw, I was giving his number by a friend in Carroll and Roche at the time.
 
looks like the car for sale in kerry going back a year or two ago, was close to dohcturbo i think. if same car it was
mapped by rcm
 
he had a silver new age for sale at one stage that was used a recci car by a local rally driver , cant remember if it was a blob or a hawk though , get it properly checked out

So the garage selling it knows their stuff? The miles wouldn't bother me as long as there's a decent service history and the car is standard and unabused

they are not a main dealer but do seem to specialise in scoobies , i went about buying a hawk sti off them few years back now but price was in cloud cuckoo land imo ,

Worth a look
Get a AA inspection done on it
They ill find something Wong to cover the cost off it
Great piece off mind if your not good at checking a car out
 
I bought a car off Phil Kirwin a few months back and to be fair to him I couldn't fault himand id buy off him again but garage car mean garage prices, if I goes wrong u have come back.
 
Ya...always handy to have a warranty...esp with the chocolate pistons and the like

ive got all my subaru's from him and wouldnt go anywhere else for them. phil knows scoobies inside out . he does all my services etc and never had a problem. ive seen that sti and looks clean. i can assure you that any car he has is fully checked for everything before its sold. top man :scoobyblue_1:
 
Yep have to agree - I'm on my fifth Scooby in 10 years with Phil and he has always looked after me.

Also my daughter is on her third car from Phil.

My neighbours have been very pleased with the cars they've bought from him.

Anything Phil doesn't know about :scoobydoo: isn't worth knowing.
