Welcome along  :subaru:

I'm insured with axa at the moment. Are you currently insured with anyone at the moment? If you are, just buy the car and tell them you have it sitting in the driveway and want to transfer your insurance. They will have to change it for you then, although how much they charge is up to them. :icon_sad:

+1

if you have an existing policy, tell them youve bought it and you shouldnt have a problem. if you havnt, best of luck!

nearly 24 with full licence for nearly 3 yrs and 4 yrs no claims.i have a policy with quinn for my everyday car.i need to be sure when it comes time for renewal ill get covered so id like to get an insurer that will quote me on a yearly basis.quinn wont when the time comes around.i got quoted nearly 2 yrs ago on an opc astra.1000 EUR fully comp by hibernian.but they wont quote on an impreza.its ridiculous!

If your after a WRX whether it is UK or JDM makes a big difference with the insurance companies. They don't like the Jap imports.

Best of luck and welcome along!

just off the phone with axa there.apparently for a impreza wrx u need to have 5 yrs no claims AND be OVER 30!!!are they mad or what?if u cant insure a 2litre car at nearly 24 with no claims and full licence theres somethin very wrong with the system!! :icon_mad:

Just buy the car and get you insurance swapped over then when it comes to renewing you can ring around see what you can get off the different companies

Its also well worth trying a few Brokers, they can sometimes work a bit of magic
