Hi dudes,

May have a chance of taking a 00 Bugeye WRX as a PX. Wasn't exactly what I was looking for, would have preferred a Classic STi coupe but nothing happening on the straight sale front so will consider the WRX. Of all the Impreza's they're my least favourite (after the new hatch of course) but would keep it for a few months. Possibly may keep it for track action in time or trade it against somthing newer.

Anyway, having never been in this model of Impreza, what should I be expecting? I understand they are c. 220bhp as standard. What you recommend as first mods? My first thoughts would be to first get a high rise STi spolier (the low spoliers are horrible IMO), a remap, exhaust and maybe a cheap set of shocks & springs or coilovers. The clustered headlight conversion would prob be on the list as well. How much do you reckon I could pick up the spolier and lights for at the minute? They would probably be the first choice of modsif I went ahead with the PX.

Any info is much appreciated folks.
Cheers

Yeah, I never liked the Bugeyes but I have to say, after looking at the members pics, both hear and on Scooby Ireland, they have started to grow on me.

At Pete: I currently have a 2007 Volvo C30. I have it up on Donedeal at €15,250 but not looking likely I will get a cash buyer so looking at possible PX's. Link to Donedeal ad is here: http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/cars/1124313
