ive just realised i should have joined this LONG ago....anyway heres my story...running subarus about 8 years...1st one was a 95 legacy rs(im told it was the 2nd last mark 1 sold new in ireland ??)...sold it and regretted it ever since...bought a 94 rs again and sold it...then had a 2001 b4(which was troublesome)...sold it...i now have 2 white 92+93 legacys rs...one a flyer !! and 1 for parts(theyre getting old !!)...oh and i had a 96 sti ra v3 for a while too but my son owns it now...

i have a few photos and ill try and put them up...also have a FEW parts id say somebody might fall a victim 4 !!!

loved this car,fab spec,manual with full leather,1 english owner from new..it blew up on the way home from the boat after driving it from northampton(probably drove it a wee bit hard !!!)..got it rebuilt with kenny mckinstry..but never liked it after that...one thing that sticks in my mind from that experience was kennys advise "good oil is cheap"..alot cheaper then a engine rebuild"..the lad from the uk even send me back a grand without me asking...real genuine gent...anyway....

my current car before and how it is now..im told it was owned by a prodrive mechanic and that it was his playtoy
spec when i bought it was
mongoose 3" turbo back exhaust(ive changed the backbox to a magnex oval)
sti yellow injectors
front mounted intercooler
intercooler hard pipes
stainless steel cone filter under drivers side wing
superchips abc controller
dawes device boost controller
forge dump valve
sti rad with twin fan conversion
sti springs and dampers
sti alloy front wishbones
sti v4 gearbox and diff
modified intercooler inlet pipe

its running 1.4bar boost...it was on a rolling road and showed 281hp and 355 nm of torque before the intercooler inlet pipe was modified and boost turned from 1.2 to 1.4....all i know is its BLOODY QUICK !!! ive since put 6 pot ap calipers on the front,converted the rears to sti 2 pots,front brace,H brace..and put 17x7 revolutions with goodyear f1s..

and finally the sti v3 ra...had it for a few months,but found it a wee bit short on the top end and hard to sit in,so its now owned by my son..

never seen one on a leggy before....

Nice collection over the years,
I was looking at the 94 leggy thinking I know it and its a super clean car.
And then I spotted that section of road and the wall that my buddy built beside the little house :lol:
 
Wow some serious cars there. That B4 is mint. Proabably the nicest i've seen. Love the colour and it sits sweet :thumbsup: Where u from ?

firstly im living in mullingar...the pink badge is a standard one u can buy of the dealers in the uk,its got the usual subaru logo(not the jap knot type) except in pink...its an ebay item(like most things i buy..incl my cars !!!)

the green 94 leggy was a very good solid car for a car that came from the salted UK roads....my present white car wouldnt be as good..its had 2 front wings sometime in its life(most UK leggys do..its there soft spot) and the back arches inside the back doors wouldnt be great...im lucky i had a complete second white rs (and a solid irish 1.6 with no sunroof) i swapped the best bits over on each..so theres a slight diff in colour..i can spot it a mile off...but then im VERY fussy....i hope to get it resprayed over the winter...its about all it needs

anybody needing mark 1 leggy bits...try me..i MIGHT let certain items go...but not promising !!!...i have to think of the future...we leggy mark 1 followers and cars are a dying breed !!!

the b4 was a beaut...i got lowering springs from japan and it left it sitting just right..not too low and still very comfortable...the speedlines i got new as a bargain from the UK on ebay(im lucky ive the use of a NI address)..they really made the car colour come to life (if i say so myself)..

anyway rant over...im starting to blabber to much....

fab site and im hoping to make good use of it..
