liken the scooby they sound fab when they are let breath a wee bit better !!! only thing is the DB readings go mad !! and the local plod dont like it !!!

welcome andrew.the 95 ww legacy looks very similar to my mate paddys old car? hes a scania pervert too!! did you buy in rathfarnham or sell it to a lad there? lovely cars by the way.the truck is a monster too. :thumbsup:

yeah.it was MAD paddy howley i sold it to.thats a good few years ago...has he still got it ?? or did he let it go....
 
hi andrew.as far as i know he sold it on there a while ago the mad baxstard!!! hes in oz now as far as i know.he put a good few bob into it over the few years he had it.lovely clean car.he then went bmw M3 mad when i had my E36 evo.he lost the love for the legacy when the E30 M3 arrived.funds also meant it had to go.small world really! :icon_biggrin:

i knew gary(his brother) thru working in the scania garage in naas where i used to get all the work done on the truck,i mentioned it to him about selling the car and he sent paddy down(he'd long hair at the time)..done the deal and the car went off to dublin...heard no more for a few years,then paddy got the notion about truck drivin and i bumped into him again and he brought it down for me to look at( i think he wanted to see my scania to be honest..he was like a dog with 2 mickeys !!)...i had the green 94 legacy bought at this stage...then i bumped into him on a regular basis when he was drivin...didn't know he was in oz or sold the car...

that was a good solid car..id have it back 2moro if i knew where it was....all the other mark 1 leggys i have/had came from the UK and the rot is in them no matter what you do...
anyway..as you say a small world...

paddy was a real scania v8 nut...he loved the whack off mine with the straight thru exhaust..i used to drive him mad on the m50 when id whizz by and he'd have the window open listening to it sing...him and gary..two VERY nice lads...
 
yeah gary and paddy soundest lads you could meet,both truck and car and bike mad!! saw gary the other day in his white scania,he has a big cage just under the windscreen......looks like a mad max creation!! i remember he told me he picked it up in oz and sent it home.doubt he will need protection against roos on the M50 over here? :dontknow:
