Sunday Drivers
Hey guy's

I'm new to Subaru's i'm picking up a 2002 bug eye WRX tomorrow i've been reading some of the post's here and am blown away by the amount of stuff you guy's know,
the car has no mod's just a dump valve it has WR sport on the exhaust does this mean anything.
I would be interested in doin a little bit of work to it not much just a bit more power where should i start and what sort of price would you be talking.
Cheers

Welcome along  :subaru:

Im sure most lads will agree stage 1 tuning consiste of a good drop in panel filter, uprated fuel pump, up rated plugs a full decat and a map :subaru: :subaru:

Agree with mick on that,
Best of luck with your new motor, and dont be shy too ask questions,
get full membership, you wouldn't believe the amount of meets/activities that happen throughout the year.
John

Welcome to the club lad :subaru:
as above start with the basics a good service and were possible use uprated parts
fuel pump, spark plugs, airfilter fuel filter and oil change, then have a think on
what mods you want and then have the car mapped to adjust for what mods
you are adding

Welcome along mate.

Sounds like the exhaust has come off a car that was fitted with PPP (Prodrive Performance Pack). Now it could just be the backbox or the car could actually have PPP fitted which gives approx 40bhp extra over standard. There should be a PPP certificate with it too if its fitted but would be a nice bonus for you if true.

Thanks for the replies lads, if it is the ppp pack on it where would the certificate be would it be with the log book.

Yeah cert should be with the log book, in theory anyway. You could check if there are any other signs of ppp being fitted. A different ecu is fitted & I think it has prodrive written on it. They also fitted a silicone pipe between turbo & intercooler instead of the normal rubber one. And finally there was one of the cats removed but unless you know what to look for you're not gonna know that

Welcome Along!!

Uve definately come to the right place for advice these lads know everything bout scoobys!! :subaru: :subaru:
