I think I am going to go with AD08R as I will be running them for half the year.

I have a feeling those A048 would get very hairy in the wet but that's only a guess

That's right and be same when its cold . Just seen openeo have the federal on 18 for 115 which is a bargain .

Savage grip from cold and in the wet just deep standing water as speed is what you need to be mindful of.
I have pushed mine hard in the wet with no issues.

Ao48 are actually brilliant but the ad08r better due to being less noisey.

Mine sound like bearings are gone n sounds like a proper fan at high speed
