house broke into

just found out somebody tried to fish the neighbours keys through the letterbox at 11.30 last night but the neighbours heard them
so they legged it..think they were driving a silver nissan......ill have to sleep with one eye open tonight :icon_twisted:
 
just got locksmith out to replace broken lock and fit deadbolt lock. have alarm guy coming monday. really got a wake up call and yes it coulda been much much worse. lads i have got personal messages and phone txts offering me all sorts of advice and help from this site. i want to thank each and every one of you for that. it really means so much to me and my family. thanks lads :clap: :clap: . the isdc is a privilege for me to be in.

Lock her up well till you get the alarm put on, maybe look into getting one of the security poles for the ground to block it in.

Any neighbors see anything like suspicious cars etc..??
 
2 sets of neighbours heard what they described as a shotgun type of noise which was more than likely the force of the front door going in. they just never bothered to have a peep out from behind the curtains to see. strange neighbours i have :question: . told kids the police caught the guy and wont be here again. what more can i say to 3 kids afraid to sleep in their own beds now. anyway thanks a lot guys , really appreciate the help :thumbsup:
 
sorry to here about your troubles... what madens me is you work hard and go to work for 8 hours a day and maybe more and save and pay loans to have stuff like cars laptops etc and then you have the fookers that came into your house.. they are prob on the dole and if they have kids they get a free house and all the benefits free tv licence etc.. :angry1:

OK i just found out what happened. girl two doors up was about to drive out last night just after 7pm. noticed a silver toyota estate parked outside my drive. the car door of it was wide open and she couldn't get by it. she saw a guy in shirt and trousers under my car. noticed another guy in garden on other side of car . this guy came down to close his car door to allow her to pass and the other guy got up and walked to my front door and started banging on it with his fist. she is 99% sure they are travellers, she was suspicious at the time and only for the fact he got up and banged on my door , it made her think i was in the house and knew they were at the car . she only heard tonight that my house was done and came in to tell me about it. will have to defo upgrade the old clifford now, does anyone know if the clifford concept 650 is the way to go ? thanks lads , james..
 
I would defo say go for the 650 mark 2 its a great alarm,
i have it with the remoe start witch is handy for cold mornings :whistle:

Really sorry to hear this James, these fooks just show no fear
and dont care who they hurt or the effect it has on people, as
you said how do you explain it to your kids and help them overcome
their fear of sleeping in their own home where they should feel safe.
Two cnuts had a go at my mates Impreza during the week in Santry
seems to be getting to common these days.

i was talking to my neighbour he said he thinks it was a silver toyota that drove off when he disturbed themat his letterbox
im not to far away from blanch so could be the same

Really sorry to hear this but it could have been a whole lot worse,glad you and your family are ok and hope the ordeal is forgotten about quickly :thumbsup:
