Just seen a topic there asking about Penilty points, so i thought id make a poll and c how many law breakers we have amoungst us.

I myself have a big fat zero :thumbsup:

Well really i should have 2 from when i was doing 80 kph in a 60 kph zone on the naas road when it was coming to the end of the building of it on a sunday. lol 3 open lanes, no traffic and a copper with a speed gun i say he earned his over time that day. Butttttt i was driving my sisters car and she has a british license so she got the blame lol.

with the new cameras coming out I think everyone will have them in time anyway
 
me and my mate were doin 80 mph with our lights of in the middle of the night when a squad car passed us, he never caught us though
 
Question 1: Zero, though the way things are going there might soon be nobody without points.  :(

Question 2: He told me it was 98.6 mph, on the N6 in an MGB GT back in the late '70s, when the national speed limit was 55 mph.  :oops: (And when nobody had ever heard of a Subaru!  :shock:)

But I was young and foolish then ...   :dunno: :whistle:

2 for me. Doing 80 in a "special 60" on the Naas Dual Carriageway. It was the moring of the All Ireland Final - some bitter Dub guard out to catch all us poor innocent Kerry men :angry:

2nd question: 81 in a 60mph -nothing too crazy like ;)

was caught doing 85 in a 60 zone (before the points) on the road between paulstown and gowran in kilkenny, in my escort, I told the cop I was glad I was slowing down when he zapped me :D ....not impressed 50 punt fine and a stern talking to, stick to the limit on that road every since except when overtaking :whistle:
