How many lads bring their cars to england for a rebuild/tune up??

Im talking about your unhappiness with the committee and how the club is at present

but if I'm reading right your pissed off
if so start a thread get it sorted
get it dealt with
engage and enjoy the club more you benefit ,club benefits etc.

I have not mentioned "unhappiness" with "committee" as an overall. Please dont put comments in my mouth as such.

I have been part of these cut down of posts whilst on committee. To my disgust in my/our actions thinking back i must say.

"Cut down" "Shut down"

Been there. Done that.

It is not right procedure. But that is as far as i have always been here the procedure last 9 years say. If someone questions issue. Committee will (and me part of for 2 years) bombard post. Cut down. Shut down. And most likely delete.

I have said it many a time. No1 i am a ISDC member.

No2 i am in business.

No one will ever accuse me of that being other way around.

I am sure no one here wants to "abuse" their power regards roles.

Then this thread will remain on isdc.

Or will we see a so called "clean up".
 
I'm not a Commitee Member anymore so I won't comment on that side of things
but again your posts are coming across as unhappy

whats the point in a club if you can't have issues that can be heard be my point
i believe the club works and it's mechanisms if used correctly
and Ive pointed to you how they can be used
go a while longer pissed off what's the point
sort it out man ,as yourself Club First ��

First off,the problem is some people dont have the experience or the knowledge regarding rebuilds full stop,some people might not be as well versed regarding tuning as you,
the general consensus over the years for me is a lot of scooby engines have failed drastically in this country,and guessing from the broad base of full time scooby builders in the uk,such as burrows,rawl etc it would be money well spent,does anybody in this country have that broad base??as for the pub,i dont drink personally,and the reason why i ask this question is to get the feedback to educate myself more,or maybe get steered in the right direction.

And it's a perfectly valid question to ask Brian, like I said it's a personal preference but lots of lads on here have used Ali burrows with perfect results. The closest to myself would be nurburgnoels type R, which Ali built in 2010, that car is used in anger at trackdays and has been to the ring loads of times since the build with no issue and is very reliable, Tommy555's sti is another car built a few years ago and is perfect since. Your theory on the UK being a broad Base is of course correct but that doesn't mean there aren't cowboys there too so if doing the UK route make sure to do your homework, scoobynet would be a good place to ask if you were decided on the uk. But if staying in ireland Ali burrows is the man I'd recommend ????

No idea what there like but 10 plus Subaru engines being built there at the moment

Rich(ren username) toke over the business when Paul was offered a role in syvecs I think
But has moved recently to newer premises

He's currently building my mates 2.3 motor for a P1 P1
