Welcome to the club. The JDM STi typeR (coupe) is a Great car. Some would say the best. The P1 was also a coupe so have a look at them also.
I know that Pete has a great STi typeR for sale in the Subaru for sale section on here. It has ha a full engine rebuild and has been mapped so she'd be right for many great years of driving to come. Give him a ring and get a look at it.
