Garage wants 5K, with guaranteed NCT pass and will also fix the damage with the rear bumper/tailgate.
Mileage is 102K and the short block was changed at 36K, is this something to be concerned with regarding the car itself ?
Alloys look in great condition, although the make of tires wouldn't be my choice.
Good few marks on the body work also, but I guess thats to be expected with a 10 y.o. car.

Is the car overpriced ? and is the exhaust non-standard ?

Any other advice would be great, or if anyone knows the car etc !
 
Brother in las sold his bugeye there 2 months back for 3k with 96k and a FSSH. Seems overpriced for what it is.

I know a cleaner silver bug for possibly less money... the below as is from a while back... but car is still with owner.

Bit over priced alright but maybe that's what your going to be looking at paying if buying from a garage, aftermarket exhaust also :thumbsup:
 
how much should i be expecting to pick up a black Bugeye for lads ? I really don't want any other color, maybe white at a stretch. Always like to own black cars.
 
where were you when I was giving away my 05 wrx for 5200 last june. i'd say she's a bit on the pricey side at 5k

another quick question - are there particular mileage points and when the belt/water pump fail ?
 
Water pump should be ok. Timing belt needs to be done every 50-60,000miles and cost in around e600 to do properly
