IC spray on 03 JDM sti Auto & Manual Option

Hi Guys,

New question compared with the responses below.

Just wondering on the scoobs with teh "auto" IC Spray, when does it actually spray.
Is it according to intake air temps, boost level or what?

I left mine in auto, and gave it a good spirited drive for about 20-30 mins and didnt notice it come one or the level drop.
It does work though when i hit the manual spray button.

Maybe they wanted a Spec C intercooler spray set up which has a bigger tank or would your car be a spec c ? Any pics ?

Opps only seeing that bit now. Not sure why they'd want to move it in that case. The spec c tank holds 12 ltr I think

03 JDM cars come with a Twin scroll set up.. my i/c watter tank is on the Right side off the i/c and mine is a jdm twin scroll set up!

This is what made me curious. (other than the fact that it doesnt work! lol)

I saw another one 03-LH reg up in ali burrows when i collected mine, and he was saying mine is wired for tank in front. So I went lookin an can see the connecter there, and none in back.

Want to have it working for track day. Might be as simple as getting the cable run from front to back!

I dunno but i kinda had the same problem and i just changed the fuse on mine...

Such a job to try and figure out japenesse

Ye, v strange............

Will just have to get a long bit of wire and try running cable from front to back.....and hope that it actually works then!

Have an induction Kit on the car, but it came with standard airbox too.

thinkin of putting standard back in because i don't like the sound of the Ind kit.

What panel filter would anyone recommend?
 
have in in my 02 jdm bug , is it possible while driving "as close to limit as possible" the noise of car drowned out 3 sec ic spray noise .

maybe , take her for a 10 min run and then check intercooler for signs of wetness rather than trying to hear .
