No I wouldn't be into that at all.
Having driven most of the older "S" and "RS" models, the RS4 would be my choice.

To me it has the closest feel to an Impreza Sti when pushed on.
The RS6 is nice too but too refined and more of a motorway/family car.

600bhp in an RS4 would be nice :thumbsup:

The Accord yes, but a 96' anything wouldn't be an upgrade replacement. Great car in their day or as a second/track car maybe.

The BMW m135i is a serious weapon,but it looks awful bad. I would buy an M3 of equivilent value,based on looks alone.

Ford missed the point by not adding AWD,in the same way Subaru never sold widearch WRC replica Imprezas and forgot about their type-r lineage as well.
 
Contradicting myself here but had an evo 9 and handling wise is a million miles ahead of any car/ Subaru I have ever driven, you cant take a bend fast enough. Why get rid of it then... there is just something about the gc8's

I know they are getting on a bit I'd sell a kidney to get a nice R32 gtst back again cnt beat a turbo 6pot, still miss :new_gmorning: my old one 7years on.
 
Honestly don't know, would love an M3, M5 or RS4, but I'm not paying the tax.
Where does that leave ya? A fast 4 door with max 2litre tax bracket?? Not into Evo's.
Has to be an S204!!!! Can't see another option.
