I'm off

22nd october 2010 ,
A fairly innocuous date for some ... most people got up went to work (if they were lucky enough) , not for me though.
You see yesterday was a day that will stick with me for some time , not because it was my birthday , not even because i got to see Aussie comedian Jim Jeffries in cork last.
No , yesterday was the day i got rid of my beloved B4 .
The reason?
Well i really want to get into drifting/trackdays next year , and wanna build something suitable for it , which probably wont be NCT/road legal , so i will need something to tow it around .And i will never be able to afford to build anything, as well as keeping the legacy running. So i had to make a choice , nice car on the road , or good car on the track ...
So yesterday , i made the first step in the process and swapped the B4 for a diesel Santa fe .

So i would like to take this moment to thank everyone for their help and input in solving all the little niggles i had , and a special thanks to Davelegacy for the rebuild , and servicing of the vehicle.
Without his knowledge and guidance , ownership would have been a much more daunting experience

I'll still be popping in to see whats going on from time to time

Ya don't have to leave just cause ya don't drive a scooby

Your part of the family and part of the furniture at this stage
Enjoy the new build!!! Look forward to seeing you on track

petty you have to sell up but the drift/track car will be great crack

what are you going for, skyline slivia, etc

Ah ill still be popping in to see what coopster has posted in the relax section ,
as for track car , ideally id like to get a mk1 mx-5 shell , and SR20 the sh1t out of it , failing that a tatty sylvia could be on the cards ...
better get an omega first , and weld the diff and get some practice in a RWD

Wasn't expecting to read this and you headin outta subaru ownership...

But pleasure lookin after and rebuilding/mapping your car and all the best and enjoy the drifting world...
