Impact Gun / Wrench ?

I'm going to buy a cordless impact gun in the next few days,I think i'm going to go with a milwaukee m18,I don't know wheather to go for the m18 fuel brushless or would the older m18 model do the job,the cheapest fuel i've found so far is €549 at toolfix, the older model is on offer at €400,if anyone knows anywhere doing them cheaper I'd like to hear

Toolfix come into work to us.
Cheapest around I think.
A few us bought the 3/8 guns savage power in them.one of the lads has the brushless fuel one and it's more powerful.
The older type is very good in the 1/2 inch for most stuff but if you want more power for other jobs instead of just wheel changes I'd go the for the newer model.
Warranty is savage on them too, think it's 3 year on the gun body and 2 on the batteries.

Cheers for the reply,it's the 1/2 I need, the older model they stock doesn't seem to have the friction ring, the fuel has,do you know if it's hassle changing sockets with the ball pin,is it toolfix that supplies the warranty or have you to go onto the milwaukee website and register there?

the snap on guy was in to my mate but apparently the snap on gun will snap off (ironic) the chuck of the milwaukee if you connect the chucks and spin them against each other

It's supposedly been tested and the new milwaukee impact gun is the strongest on the market

Yes the m18 fuel is supposed to be the most powerful wheather it's true or not, looking at the videos on youtube it does look a beast of a tool.Ingersoll rand is supposed to be a powerful tool aswell but they don't seem as common on the Irish market.

I don't mind spending the money on a decent gun,it's from looking at the review videos on youtube that has me swaying towards the milwaukee.I was talking to a man the other day and he reckons they can give bother if not looked after, with oil and the likes getting into them,as both the gun and battery are electronic?

Pretty sure the new snap on gun is the most powerful out there, lad in work just bought a green one last week for well over 700euro!! To be honest it feels cheap quality but has savage power in it.
It kicks in your hand when you pull the trigger.

Socket changes are easy on the Milwaukee and the warranty is by them register online and they collect it as far as I know.
