Impreza Diesel

Hi guys. Myself and the other half are finally in a position to start looking at a new car. Think we may have decided on an Impreza diesel and I'm wondering if anyone here has any experience with them? Any known problems that should be looked for?

Have an eye on the car linked below, any thoughts with regards price etc.

My mate has one. Used to be a member on here and was the original owner of pigeon heads Hatch STi. He loves it. Fuel economy is great and it still looks great. His has 18" prodrive wheels and STi spoiler, side skirts, rear skirt and front splitter. Came with leather bucket seats as standard.

He's had no issues at all since 2009.

If I could afford one I'd have one in my drive way.

5.8 ltr /100 km. Great looking motor. Nice drive but nothing like an sti.

the mpg on them compared to other diesel's seems to be below most. ie vw, audi's

my dad has had one from new. 90,000kms on it with no problems.

thats smashing car, pity yeh cant get them with the flared arches like an STi
