Hi all, john from cork here, just bought a 99 red classic, kingers old car or GC8 from here's old car also.

I've enjoyed the first tank of petrol, mpg is better than I expected!

It won't be getting modified, if it does it will be subtle reversible stuff.
I must upload some pics, when I figure out how

Welcome to the club John. That is a fantastic car. Dominics old one also i think? Copy and paste link from your Photobucket or similar account is easiest way to post up pics for non full members.

I know! Once I get used to it I'll start saying "if only it had a bit more boost?"

Small baby soon, so decat is out of the question, also I need to drive to work daily so reliability is a must.
Herself is buying a sensible family diesel, so this car is a long term keeper :)

Congrats and well wear John, I really miss that car but if it is in Cork I am bound to come across it again.

I had a really enjoyable run (almost a year) with it, keep it standard as there aren't that many left and I was amazed too with the mpg especially if you take it handy.

it is exactly what i wanted, its like a time warp inside and out!
you'll definitely see it, i'm working in the city and i'll probably bring it to one of the backroads C&Cs soon enough. for the first time in a long time herself likes my purchase, never liked the hondas i had, the extra torque in the subaru is certainly welcome.

the only plan for now is the clutch and get the two back quarters sorted, the passenger side one was repaired before, not to my standard though, the drivers side has slight bubbling on the arch, the sooner the better with things like that.
