Sorry been very budy, will have more photos up asap. I have never had it dyno'd . Jgm commented on mapping that it was defo up around 350bhp.

My own opinion its defo over 300 ponies!

My number is 0858324872 if i dont answer send me a text and i will return the call.

Now the cars price i have been thinkin and i aint stuck on sellin, so the deal is car will be sold mint. The car will be serviced from top to bottom for new owner using only top oils. Also i will have the car sent of to be detailed (cost's a few €€) and also a full tank.

I reckon if i was to break it i would get close to 8 grand for whats there, shipping abroad parts , ebay etc.

So i am looking for €8,000. no less otherwise i will keep it and enjoy her twice year.

Re: Impreza type R, lots of spec

Lads, this is a for sale thread and the owner is perfectly entitled to ask what he wants for the car. If he doesn't get what he thinks its worth, he'll keep it.

And even if its not worth 8k now, if it is an undamaged example, then it will be worth 8k in the not too distant future.

Re: Impreza type R, lots of spec

i think your dead right larsti8 ,stick to your guns if it doesnt sell f**k it hold and it will be worth money in a few years when all the other type r,s are gone to the scrapper .iv seen this car and it is a credit to you and the work you have done.........

Well said, an immaculate example of a Type R will be worth a lot of money in a few years. Look what Twin cam owners paid and are still paying for 25+ year old Toyota Corollas! Ciaran sink your heels close to the price you're asking- if someone wants a good one thay will pay the price. Too many Imprezas were sold too cheap over the past few years and dealers snapped them up only to turn a nice profit on them
If you don't ask you don't get! I gaurentee if you look at donedeal closely any cheap car sold one here reappears s few weeks later with a price tag of 1,500 to 2,000 more.
Best of luck with the sale- and if you don't get the money put it back in the shed.

:lolpoint:

Could not agree more with the above, the right buyer this is worth 8k all day. Remember this thread in ten years. Been there done that with twin cams and e30s and look at what a good example brings now.

Re: Impreza type R, lots of spec

couldnt agree more

Re: Impreza type R, lots of spec

Thanks lads for all the Positive comments lads. Good to see that some people can appreciate the car.

The more i think about it more think i mad to sell as clean ones are hard find. But if somebody comes up with the price its gone . If not she'll stay with me.

Re: Impreza type R, lots of spec

To give you an idea, I spent 8 months in 2011 looking for a type r that hadnt had the rear quarter panel ripped out of it. Didnt find 1, not 1.

Re: Impreza type R, lots of spec

Don't let it go lad... they are hens teeth in good condition and you will never find another one again in good nick without forking out a lot of money!

Re: Impreza type R, lots of spec

If you dont get a genuine offer of what your asking for it do not sell, It is seriously clean car and tastefully modified. I would however get it dyno'd and nct/taxed if you want to sell. I can see it going abroad though.
