Great video again, I'd say it's TV like that is the reason most of us are driving Scoobys, I know in my case it is anyway.

The man is a legend. Have some serious memories of r and l555 fel on knockalla and atlantic drive flat out. He was a nice guy also met him a few times, as my brother is fairly heavily involved in the rally scene. First new shape scoob i saw back in 2000 was in Ardee with fisher driving it, he was always in the best of cars. Remember seeing him driving an m5 flat up the stage before road close on summit 2000,Some pilot we were right up the top of the mountain under the windmills.

The hours of standing in ditches, wet to the bone, or walking for miles up stages were always worth it to see himself, and mc kinstry, and mc hale and nesbitt, donnelly etc battle it out maybe its because i'm not able to spend as much time spectating and i have lost track of rallying in recent years but i dont think for me Irish rallying could peak the mid to late 90's.

I would love to do a replica of one of the fisher cars its something i will do in time to come. My brother found a folder of old posters and stickers we had collected between us when he was moving house lately, i must take some pics of the stickers and autographed posters i have.

Lot of great talent gone sadly, always surprised no one mentions Frank Maher also another great driver RIP

Bevan, i was at the summit rally as well up round quins quarry and then back to the slieve russell afterwards, was a wild spot but a great rally.
Rallying isnt the same now as it was back five years ago i think, a lot of good men gone.
