In The Market For A Type R Impreza

Hi all,

I'm now actively looking to get my hands on a type R Preferably a Ver5 or Ver6.
I'm Looking to get one thats been mapped and well looked after.
I am looking at a few at the minute but so far none of them have ticked all the boxes for me.
I'm not in a hurry as I have my STi to keep me occupied, so I have the luxury of time
If anyone is selling one please let me know.
 
Cheers Colm it sure is a nice car only real problem for me is that I would have to map it and I haven't got the budget for that at the minute.

Hi Johnny don't have any colour prferences really, though I do like the cool grey and silver ones.
Budget is around 5grand.
But I'm just waiting for the right car to pop up really.

Also you might know the answer to this one...
Is there any difference between the standard type R and the Vlimiteds other than the colour and roof Hatch??????
 
no difference between type r v5 or type r vlimited v5 other than roof hatch

but the v6 ones are different as the vlimited are numbered 1/1000 and have the roof hatch, blue seats and blue dash.

So the differences are all just cosmetic as I though and nothing in the Performance area.
Am I right in saying the V6 type R has a Taller 5th Gear also.
